I took this image on September 29, 2022, in the same day as “The Walk Trough Time”, JUST a few minutes apart. Here I PUT the clouds ON A SPOTLIGHT and I DID not WANT to REVEAL the identity of the subject. I decided to call this image "Purgatory" because the subject is EXHAUSTINGLY walking up a steep slope APPROACHING "The Gates of Paradise", LEAVING BEHIND THE FIRST TWO STOPS OF THE AFTERLIFE REPRESENTED BY THE STREET LAMPS. NOW HE IS REACHING TOWARDS REDEMPTION AND THE FINAL SALVATION.

I took this photo IN MY HOMETOWN on september 21, 2022 in “Villa Pacini” SQUARE. The symmetry AMONG the subjects of this image tells a story. These old men were playing cards under A large arch near the gates of the main square of the city, “Piazza Duomo”. I BELIEVE THAT the symmetry of the photo and the characteristicS OF THE TYPICAL SICILIAN’S OLD MEN faces speak for themselves.
“ENEMY”
“Enemy” was born on may 5, 2023 in a metropolitan street of Krakow. The day before AT AROUND 6 PM I was on the tram, returning from COLLEGE. Looking out the window I noticed this thin beam of light. the next day at the same time I TOOK AGAIN MYSELF THERE waiting for the perfect moment. And there it was. THE wedge of light gAve life to the VERY TRUE subject of the image, the shadow of the old lady's face. The greatest enemy of every human being is himself, with wHOM, day after day, moment after moment, we have to deal. I captured the precise moment in which the lady's face and HER reflection WERE in the thirds of the frame.
